What is Snapchat?
Snapchat is a social messaging app that allows you to send photos and videos to friends. The big difference between Snapping and tweeting or any other form of social media is that Snaps disappear after 10 seconds, or after 24 hours if set to a “My Story.” Check out the video below from Snapchat for more details about the popular app.
What is a Snapchat Geofilter?
Snapchat Geofilters are a way to share what you’re doing and where you are on Snapchat. They are playful graphic overlays that are placed as a frame around the photos and videos that you take in Snapchat depending on where you are located geographically.
How do I access Snapchat filters?
Simply open your Snapchat app on your phone and take a picture. Then, with one finger, swipe right on your screen. Depending on where you are geographically, different filters will appear. If you do not see any filters then you need to make sure you have enabled the filters feature in your Snapchat settings and have turned on location services for Snapchat. When you have both of those features enabled, you’ll be able to discover Geofilters all over the place, making Snapping in your city or while traveling infinitely more fun.
